As the war against the world wide coronavirus pandemic continues, there are many countries and organizations that are trying so hard to come up with its vaccine.

Recent allegations have pointed out that Italy, a country that has been hit hard with the novel coronavirus have found its vaccine.

According to various links shared by Nairobi County Governor Mike Sonko on his Facebook page on Wednesday afternoon, a team of scientists from Italy are said to have come up with a couple of coronavirus vaccine that are said to neutralize the Covid-19 in human cells.

This vaccine from Italy has joined other vaccines that are being tested on hundreds of people across the world before being accepting as an overall vaccine by the World Health Organization (WHO).

This vaccine was developed at a firm called the Takis. Tests were then carried out on human cells at the Rome's infectious disease Spallanzani Hospital.

Affirming that this vaccine neutralizes the Covid-19 in human cells, Takis CEO Luigi Aurisicchio, pointed out that human tests will be done soon.

“This is the most advanced stage of testing of a candidate vaccine created in Italy. Human tests are expected after this summer,” said Takis CEO.

Hundred are being injected with vaccines to see if they help them recover. [Source/pharmaceutical-technology.com]

“According to Spallanzani Hospital, as far as we know we are the first in the world so far to have demonstrated a neutralization of the coronavirus by a vaccine. We expect this to happen in humans too,” said Aurisicchio.

This is great news given the fact that coronavirus has caughted a lot of deaths across the world.
