Ninaitwa Mniko The Poet, mwandishi wa digital ebooks kuhusu mashairi na stories.
Ninaandika mashairi kuhusu jambo lolote ambalo mtu ataomba nimwandikie,
kwa mfano unaweza kuomba nikwandikie shairi kuhusu harusi yako au birthday ama tukio lolote utakalopenda lakini pia ninaandika story kuhusu mambo mbalimbali ambayo mtu yeyote aweza kuniomba nimwandikie.
Hadi sasa nimeshaandika vitabu viwili vya ushairi kwa lugha ya kiingereza na kitabu kimoja cha riwaya kwa lugha ya kiswahili, mashairi yangu yanalenga watu wenye umri wa miaka 14 hadi umri wowote wa uzeeni katika staili ya free verse, rhyme, haiku, tanka, sonnet na mengineyo.
Ninaomba ushirikiano wenu katika tathinia hii ya burudani au uandishi.
Hapa chini nimeandika shairi mojawapo liwaburudishe au kuwaelimisha.
Poem: PLEASE WAIT …. I SAY WAIT.
In the reception yard,
the watchman said,
“have a seat”
and insisted more ‘you have to sit’
but I refused and went on to knock,
this is what I met,
‘Please wait, you have to wait’.
Those words were written on the doctors’ door,
When I went for emergency service of my patient,
Then I wondered how the Doctor came out,
and abandon us on the floor.
‘Please wait’
the doctor said on phone after the long wait,
asking for bribe to give hospitality,
But I asked a passerby,
why hospitals have become bribe houses?
She said to me
‘they study only medicine without hospitality’.
