A TOP public school's English master has been forced to resign after he admitted having a fling with a 17-year-old sixth-form pupil. Married dad-of-three Dr Terence Anthony Bell admitted breaching his position of trust after appearing in court today. Blackburn magistrates heard how the affair had been discovered last week when another pupil found the girl sitting on the 47-year-old's knee one evening. Scott Ainge, prosecuting, said: "They went into some woods where they had sexual contact." When arrested, Bell had told police that loving the girl was not fundamentally wrong, adding: "Love is a very powerful thing". more on "The sun".
