Kaka huwezi kufyatua visivyofyatulika, huwezi kufanya visivyofanyika just because some Asimov, Wells, Hugo, Clarke or Adams ali pen a popular SF item back in the days.
Why should natural laws converge all the way to a single point? After all, even if you take the standard model of theoretical physics and it's big bang, ukasema big kila kitu tunachoweza kuki measure kinatoka katika point moja ya big bang, the big bang is a singularity by definition, and all known laws break down there.
It is an interesting proposition, I am even prepared to entertain the notion that all natural law stemmed from the same nugget of spacetime, but that does not mean we must be able to find something today that can encompass all.
A grand unified theory was in the history of cosmogony, at the singularity, unless one can study a singularity sufficiently, hii habari ni more SF than science.
Now I know I meant it like " Mr. know it all" and not necesarily GUT per se, but you touched a subject I have much passion about, so there you are. It is sad when someone shows a little average knowledge, amongst ourselves he is taken to be "Mr. Know it all"
Those who know at least know that they don't know.
