Leo Duarte was loaned out to Istanbul Basaksehir in January and his loan will expire in six months. Fortunately for Milan, it seems the Turkish side are willing to sign the Brazilian permanently.

Duarte made just one appearance in Serie A this past season before moving to Turkey, where he played 17 games. According to Mediaset, as cited by MilanNews, Basaksehir are happy with the performance of the defender.

In fact, they seem willing to exercise the buy-out option in January, valued at roughly €5-6m. This is good news for Milan as it means they will avoid a capital loss, which is a good outcome considering how Duarte played for the Rossoneri.

Then again, the Turkish side could decide to not exercise the option and then Milan would be back at square one. Hopefully, Duarte will continue to do well in Turkey and earn his stay at the club.

CM: Milan could keep talented midfielder as Leeds and Frankfurt probe ground
By Isak Möller - 5 June 2021, 15:41
Milan have several interesting talents in their ranks and one of them is Tommaso Pobega, who spent this past season on loan at Spezia. He certainly didn’t disappoint and has attracted the interest of a few clubs.

The midfielder scored six goals and assisted an additional three while on loan Spezia, showing his qualities on the big stage. The midfielder will return to Milan this summer and it’s believed that he could in fact stay.

According to Calciomercato.com, several clubs have kept an eye on Pobega recently, but above all Leeds and Eintracht Frankfurt. Both have probed the ground for a deal but Milan could decide to keep Pobnega for next season as a squad player.

Ismael Bennacer and Franck Kessie will take part in the AFCON and will thus miss some games. Therefore, having Pobega in the squad could come in handy. And as a product of the academy, he will be beneficial for the UEFA list.

Mediaset: Milan could sacrifice midfielder to lower cost of Tonali operation

By Isak Möller - 5 June 2021, 15:30

Milan are currently in talks with Brescia to lower the fee of Sandro Tonali, who arrived last summer on an initial loan deal. However, it has turned out to be quite difficult for the Rossoneri, who have a solution in mind.

According to Mediaset, as cited by MilanLive, the Rossoneri want to lower the €15m buy-out but Massimo Cellino (Brescia president) is keen on keeping the valuation. Instead, Milan could include a technical counterpart.

Marco Brescianini, who spent this past season on loan at Virtus Entella, could be included in the deal. Milan are willing to sacrifice the 21-year-old, it seems, as they have no doubts about the quality of Tonali and what he can achieve.

In addition to the midfield, Milan could probably include another player as well, most likely a youth player. As said, there are no doubts about the permanence of Tonali, as a solution will indeed be found in the end.

📰 @TMit_news: Three players from Milan have increased their value in the last year and are in the top ten of Serie A: Kessie’s value has increased by 35M and he is first in the list. Eighth and ninth place for Calhanoglu and Bennacer with an increase of 20,5M. https://t.co/tbP74GDHa8

📌 Junior Firpo will leave Barça after the confirmation of Ronald Koeman, his agents are in Italy and could soon have a new meeting with AC Milan. At the moment it is an idea that, under the right economic conditions, could soon become a real negotiation per @86_longo

Adrien Rabiot « I had no role in Maignan's arrival in Italy. There were many rumors, I simply told him it would be good for him, especially in a team like Milan that has been reborn in recent seasons

« Maignan is a hard worker, very ambitious, and always has a great desire to improve. He will do very well in Italy.

As Antonio and Gigio Donnarumma will leave at the end of this month, Milan have been forced to act on the market. They quickly brought in Mike Maignan to replace Gigio, but Antonio’s replacement hasn’t been known.

According to Mediaset (via MilanNews), putting an end to all the questions regarding it, Alessandro Plizzari will be the third-choice goalkeeper next season. The youngster has been out on loan the last two season, most recently at Reggina.

He’s very promising and some even believe that he can become as good as Gigio, although the expectations have seen a decline over the years. Either way, it will be interesting to see Plizzari back with the first team again.

Of course, as both Mike Maignan and Ciprian Tatarusanu are ahead in the pecking order, we are not talking about a lot of playing time. He might get some minutes in a cup game, but nothing more than that.
Thank God,Milan gave him the opportunity

AC Milan have offered Olivier Giroud a two-year contract worth €8m.

The France striker is keen on the move.

According to Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Udinese want to cash in €35-40m from the departure of De Paul. This is too much for Milan, who are evaluating different solutions to secure the services of the Argentine.

The Rossoneri could include one or two technical counterparts in the deal to lower the cash amount. Matteo Gabbia and Tommaso Pobega are two players that could be sacrificed, but it’s believed that Udinese want Jens Petter Hauge.

The Norwegian youngster didn’t play much towards the end of the season but it’s clear that he’s very talented. Therefore, even if it means getting De Paul, parting ways with him permanently would be far from ideal.

📰 @Gazzetta_it: If it won’t be Giroud, AC Milan will buy another striker: the idea of Milik comes up in addition to the already known Valhovic and Scamacca. The Sassuolo jewel Raspadori is a more defiled profile. https://t.co/XRSxjvqHiT

After a seven-year absence, Milan will return to the Champions League, something which provides a huge boost to the club’s project.

As MilanNews writes, qualification for the top European club competition reopens the discussions between the Rossoneri and UEFA regarding Financial Fair Play and in October, the Milan management should sit down with them to resume talking, after the stop due to Covid.

The main subject of the discussions will be the the settlement agreement. In this period of economic precariousness Milan instead gave strong signals, even in past years, that they are committed to becoming healthier financially.

The consolidation of the accounts undertaken is evident and is bearing the first fruits, even on the field.

Milan’s attention to these issues was greatly appreciated by UEFA, so much so that what filters from Casa Milan is that there is confidence that dialogue with UEFA for the Settlement Agreement can be positive for the club moving forward.
