- since this summer, Milan has been working on new contracts, incl. for Theo Hernandez, Ismael Bennacer and Rafael Leao

- the club will try to extend the contracts with the mentioned players during the November break for the national teams (nothing will happen if this goal is not achieved)

- Theo and Bennacer - both players are currently earning 1,5 million euros net per season (until 2024). Under the new agreements, they would earn 3 million euros net for the season + bonuses (until 2026).

- Leao currently earns 2 million euros net for the season (until 2024). Under the new contract, he would earn 4 million euros net for the season (until 2026).

- Kessie: the player currently expects 8,5 million euros net for the season (including bonuses). Talks are ongoing, but reaching an agreement seems less and less likely. Milan remains on 6,5 million euros net for the season.

🚨 Leao: “Happier to play with Ronaldo or Ibrahimovic? They're two players I admire a lot. I always try to learn from them, but of course I'm happier to be able to share the field with Ronaldo because he's a player I admire a lot.”

AC Milan plan to sell 2 players in January
Posted on November 13, 2021 by Rossonero

AC Milan need to offload several unwanted players in January. Maldini and Massara are working finalize two sales.
AC Milan are expected to make one or two signings in the January transfer window. The management must also take into account that two key players like Kessie and Bennacer will leave for the African Cup.

Sales in January are also an important part of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara’s job. AC Milan will try to offload Andrea Conti and Samuel Castillejo when the winter mercato opens. The two should have left during the summer but the Rossoneri were not pleased with the offers arrived so both stayed. However, they are not part of the project and coach Stefano Pioli is not counting on either.

The contract of Andrea Conti expires at the end of the season so AC Milan are asking a modest fee of just 2 million euros for the Italian right back. Sampdoria remain interested in his services. The former Atalanta defender has not played a single minute this season, totally closed by Calabria, Florenzi and Kalulu.

As for Castillejo, his future could still be in Serie A. New Genoa coach Andriy Shevchenko would like to have the Spanish right winger under his orders according to reports. The 26-yer-old has made just three appearances so far. He contributed in the comeback victory against Hellas Verona but that will not impact his situation.

Unlike Conti, Castillejo’s contract expires in June 2023. AC Milan have set an asking price of 6 million euros for the 26-year-old right winger who earns an annual salary of 1.5 million. The Rossoneri hope to recoup around 8 million after spending €45 million for the two.

Italy could only get a draw against Switzerland with Jorginho missing the chance to win the game for Italy after missing the penalty.

To qualify for the World Cup, if Italy and Switzerland win their next match, the team with the better goal difference will qualify for the World Cup. If they both draw, Italy will qualify for the World Cup.

Torino would like to keep Tommaso Pobega for longer and are considering a permanent transfer. Milan are not in favor of such a solution and would like to keep the player. Pobega is currently in Torino on a "dry" loan.

Franck Kessie is reportedly seeking a move to Paris Saint-Germain or to the Premier League when his Milan contract expires.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have stated that while Paolo Maldini has not given up on getting the player to sign a new deal, there has been no change of direction in the talks.

Maldini will meet Kessie’s agent once again to have a final word on the matter but it is unlikely that a new deal is signed.

Kessie wants to move to PSG or to England, just so he can earn more than what Milan can afford to pay right now.
