The new Inter goalkeeper Andrè Onana has admitted that he has spoken to his friend Hakim Ziyech about the idea of him joining AC Milan.

Milan have been repeatedly linked with a move for Ziyech stretching back to last summer, and the feeling is that with Chelsea going for attacking reinforcements the Morocco international could be pushed out of the exit door.

Several sources have claimed that the Rossoneri management are exploring a deal for the 29-year-old former Ajax star but at the moment it does not seem that there is anything imminent.

Onana was interviewed by DAZN and talked about his first days in Milano after joining the Nerazzurri, but also slipped in the interesting information that he and Ziyech have spoken about the possibility of being opponents in the Milan derby next season.

“I am a friend of Ziyech and De Ligt, he is a great centre-back. But in the end everyone chooses his path and I cannot decide for them and even if I knew their future I would not say it right now,” he said (via Calciomercato.com).

“We are all friends, so to Regardless of what they decide, I wish them luck because Ziyech is a great player and we talked about his hypothetical arrival and if he arrives I would be happy for him but at the same time we would be opponents and we could not be friends as before.”

📰 Tuttosport: Lille has appealed to the Swiss Federal Court against the decision of the Court of Sport that condemned the club and Leao to pay 20M€ to SportingLisbon. In this way, the compensation can be considered frozen, the procedure changing from sporting to "civil".

📰 CorSport (@AntoVitiello): Maldini and Massara will make an offer of 30M€ with the inclusion of bonuses and possibly a % resale on the future sale.

📰 CorSport (@AntoVitiello): De Ketelaere's presence at Milanello a month before the start of the championship would also be important for him, to understand the way of playing with AC Milan and to acclimatize himself with the team.

📰 CorSport (@AntoVitiello): Hakim Ziyech remains one of AC Milan's targets, with the club hoping he will reduce his wage demands or that Chelsea will contribute to the deal.

📰 CorSport (@AntoVitiello): ACMilan needing to compensate for the departure of Romagnoli, the Rossoneri would like to target a left-footed defender, and AbdouDiallo's profile would be ideal as he would also cover the left flank if needed as an assistant to TheoHernandez.

CorSport on the front page: "De Ketelaere is a coincidence, Milan are in a hurry now"

The Corriere dello Sport on newsstands this morning emphasizes the attacking midfielder who has been holding the court for a few days at the Rossoneri's home.

The title reads: "De Ketelaere is a coincidence, Milan are in a hurry now". Bruges is still asking too much of Milan for the talented Charles De Ketelaere and the Italian Champions want to try to close the deal as soon as possible to give Pioli his new playmaker.

In the background there is always the possibility of Hakim Ziyech leaving Chelsea and accessible with the loan formula.

CM: Milan beat Barcelona to Paraguay starlet - he is already training with the first team.

Hugo Cuenca is a name that many AC Milan fans might not be familiar with, but he is a player that the management have great hope for in the future.

Calciomercato.com report that the 17-year-old Cuenca is considered by several insiders as one of the biggest prospects in South American football, and Milan managed to snatch him from the competition of some big Spanish clubs, with Barcelona chief among them.

The Rossoneri tried to sign him both in the last summer transfer window and in January, but for bureaucratic issues related to obtaining a Spanish passport the deal was put on hold, but it now seems to be over the line.

Oscar Barreto, the vice president of his hometown club in Paraguay Deportivo Capiatà, spoke to the radio station Universo970 and gave some insight: “Hugo Cuenca is currently training with Milan’s first team. It is a contract in stages and we will collect a hefty sum for 100% of federal rights and 90% of economic ones.”

After months of acclimatisation in the U18 side and the four appearances collected at the Viareggio Tournament, for Cuenca his new adventure with the Milan shirt is now beginning. He is certainly a name to be followed with great attention in the Primavera, which will be coached by Ignazio Abate.

Milan and Ibrahimovic to continue together - the Swede has two objectives in mind

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to put pen to paper on a new contract that will see him remain at AC Milan for another season, a report claims.

The agreement with the Swede should entail a low fixed base salary to which bonuses related to personal and team appearances and goals will be added once Zlatan returns to the field, presumably from January onwards.

There are two objectives in mind for the 40-year-old: a 20th Scudetto and therefore a second star, and an eighth Champions League. However, first he must get back to 100% and to help that he is recovering a few steps from the Gardaland amusement park.

He has rented a villa all to himself where he will spend the summer in the company of his family and especially his trusted physiotherapist Giorgio Gasparini, with whom the former Barcelona and Ajax striker has a long professional relationship, and he will soon take the next stage in his recovery by moving to the gym.

Milan have had their second bid for Charles de Ketelaere rejected and they are now working on making a third offer for the player.

While Milan did make a second offer for the player after their first one was held back, Leeds United made a much higher bid for the player but De Ketelaere has yet to make a call about his future.

Sky Sport’s Daniele Longo has now reported that Milan will have to match the offer from the Premier League club as they already have an agreement on personal terms with the player.

Leeds’ offer was at €37 million and Milan are now preparing a third bid of €30 million plus bonuses of €5 million, which will take the total offer value to €35 million.
