Despite my earlier phone call of congratulation, I am humbly writing to wholeheartedly leave a lasting impression of the same on your desk! I sincerely reiterate my proudly congratulation and highly welcomes the trust WHO Afro member states bestowed on electing you to a position of Regional Director. This trust is conferred you for demonstrating promising abilities and previous national as well as regional health sector accomplishments. Your trustworthiness won a state house endorsement, East African Community as well as SADC countries approval of a candidacy to a position that deserved WHO Afro members trust and my Congratulation!
It is of utmost importance for the WHO Afro region having a Director a national from Tanzania and a parliamentarian in particular at this fundamental juncture. I m proudly confident that under your competent leadership, experiences and knowledge the Organization will continually be reinforced and will have a key role to play, especially in the post 2025 health development agenda. Your ability to relentlessly search for solutions to problems and find innovative ways to optimally improve health and well-being for every African individual is the key to your success and many yet to come!
I would correspondingly like to commend the campaign team led by the Minister for Health Hon. Ms. Jenista Muhagama, accompanied by other ministers namely Honorable Thabit Kombo and Patroba Katambi. Additionally, parliamentarian colleagues namely Hons Elibariki Kingu, Neema Lugangila, Shamsiya, and Kizito Mhagama for conducting a wise, creative, composed and highly professional campaigns they surely represented Tanzanians wishes. Congratulation!
My compliments wouldnt be complete without a mention of Her, Excellence President of the United Republic Tanzania Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan for her suitable eagled eye sightedness on your suitability and ensured a state house endorsement, East Africa Community and SADC approval for candidature is secured. She deserves a title of victorious team builder and empowering supervisor for entrusting such awesome campaign team. All is possible with the ingenuity of Madame Presidents personality and the purposefulness of results-driven governance!
