Been thinking on it over and over again. How good is the Tanzanian ground for Cell phone business? African economy is booming, would it be a good time to setup an international store there ?

I have been thinking of this, customized cellphone cases. One thing I know for sure, Tanzanians are crazy with high end smartphones.

I think is still a very promising venture.

From what I’ve seen, a lot of emerging markets are really open to new tech businesses, but the key is to really understand what the local consumers are looking for and making sure your product fits their needs and budgets.

I remember when a friend started a similar venture in Kenya. He spent quite some time just understanding the local preferences and even tailored his marketing to fit cultural nuances. Maybe take a leaf from his book?
