How Tanganyika underdeveloped Zanzibar

Zanzibar once boasted one of the most economically prosperous country in the region.

Zanzibaris enjoyed a standard of living way above Tanganyika counterpart.

Not anymore. How did it come to this?
*Dodoma imposed leadership who are most likely to pursue union agenda to detriment of Zanzibar agenda.

*Ujamaa policy arrested economic development of isle.

*Common foreign policy prevented Zanzibar to unilaterally seek development partners to develop Isle economy.

Obvious when you are under incompetent leaders who failed to prosper their country economy Tanganyika's, it is also true that they will anywhere alse. Therefore as matter of discussion I agree that Tanganyika contributed to the downfall of Zanzibar economy.
