We have people making loads of cash off of the runway, and others from criticizing those on the runway. What I think is, even fashion gurus are not always right, as in fashion is only what it is to you (well except for a few styles that we sometimes agree are hideous), but mostly what people chose to wear or not to wear is fine as long as its okay with them.

If you feel the need to critisize, do it, but those you are critising dont have to agree with what you think about what looks good on them, they could in turn think what you mark as 'great' is ridiculous.

Sisemi kuwa fashion critics don't matter, they do, na wengi wanafuata what they say, but not everyone.

Live and let live.

Hi Kenyan,

Live and let live is a great motto to live by. But what we DO NOT want to do is use it as an excuse to be uncritical towards ourselves. Fashion? That doesn't concern me. But looking my best does concern me. Looking crisp and clean shows respect towards your business associates, your family and friends.

How you appear outside is an expression of who you are inside.

So live and let live, but hold oneself to a higher standard. That's my approach. 🙂

Hi JohnScott07,

Natafuta namna ya ku counter attack sioni gap, haha. Very well said. But still if people want to look different then its up to them, when u've given them good advice and they chose to ignore it, all u can do is wish them well.

Some just love uniqueness, even in strange ways.
