IDed- The woman found dead alongside Chris Musando...

Details have emerged of the woman whose body was found next to that of IEBC ICT manager Chris Msando.

Her family on Tuesday revealed her identity as 21-year old Caro Ngumbu.

She had just finished studies at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Karen branch and was due to graduate in December.

Her sister Jedida Wanjiku told journalists that she last spoke to the deceased on Friday at around 7pm when she told her that she was going to have a few drinks with Mr Msando.

The two had had lunch together at a fast food joint in the city centre. Afterwards, Jedida went to get supplies for her business while Caro left for some errands.

Caro would later call her at 7 pm to say that she was hanging out with Mr Msando
Jedida said Caro and Ms Msando had known each other for months, but denied they had an affair.

Jedida said she realised Caro was missing on Saturday after her (Caro’s) male friend called looking for her because her phone was off.

“Yesterday after seeing the news on TV, I immediately knew it was my sister because she had last gone hanging out with Chris but I hadn’t heard from her. So I called some of my friends and we went to City Mortuary. We did not even inform our parents before going.”

“At the mortuary, I was scared and I let my two friends go inside while I stayed outside. I shortly heard my friend scream and I knew it was her,” said Jedida.

At the their home in Gachie, the mother Alice Nduruka described Caro as very calm and peacefully child.

“When she told me she was going out on Friday I did not expect could receive such news,” she said.

“This is not something that could have happened to my daughter because she is such a good person.”

We as a society then took it upon ourselfs to kill robbers on the streets... and everyone seemed fine with it
They started torturing and killing suspected robbers and terrorist, still it was fine, as long as its not "me"

Even the extrajudicial killings that used to happen in the past was organised, its was properly executed with intent using chain of command, orders were issued and orders were followed.... The public never payed attention such unlawful killings of alleged criminals by the police, more so when the said criminals belonged to the lower segment of the society.

They are bad citizens, a threat to our property, our lives, and even our daughters' purity, they would argue.

But now that these days they are targeting even the elite, the top creme of the Kenyan society....it appears that is what is stirring Kenyans from their indifference to these very illegal killings.
