Usijisumbue na hao jamaa, yani huaga wanapayuka tuChigali city iko slightly more developed but the rural areas of Rwanda are poorer than Nakuru. Nakuru iko na utajiri mkubwa kwa sababu ya vitu hivi.
1) Geothermal power stations in Naivasha generating more than 750 MW of power. Total cost of building these powerplants is more than $4 billion.
2) Flower industry in KE is mainly based in Naivasha. This industry exports more than $1 billion worth of flowers every year.
3.) Tourism. Naivasha is a top 3 tourist destination in KE. Mombasa and Masai Mara
are the only competitors. Naivasha has many high class tourist hotels.
4.) Molo is becoming an industrial town. Just last week the president opened a big cement plant. A milk processing plant was also opened recently.
5) Nakuru town itself is the fourth biggest urban area with more than a million residents and big industrial companies like Menengai oil. The value of goods and services generated in Nakuru town is sizeable.
So Rwanda can be compared with Nakuru, one of the richest counties in KE. If you think Rwanda is wealthier then tell me why, after all this is just a discussion.
