gOOgle kwanza jinsi ya kusafirisha gesi kwa kutumia meli.Who told you it can't be liquefied after imefika Mombasa?
Your post.Who told that I don't know?
Alafu from Mombasa to Nairobi the gas will fly? Dar - Mombasa - Nairobi ni mbali kuliko Dar - Arusha - Nairobi.Dar - bagamoyo - tanga - Mombasa ni karibu kuliko Dar - moshi - arusha - Nairobi Kwahio angalia wapi ni garama nafuu utapata jibu

4real?My post has nothing to do with the transportation.
Inawezekana mombasa wakaweka generator kama za kinyelezi kubadilisha gesi kuwa umeme .Alafu from Mombasa to Nairobi the gas will fly?
LNG refinery ikianza huko Lindi wazungu nao wanunue .
These are good questions and I don't have the answers to most of them. In deed I agree with you that it would have been a good idea for the pipeline to go to Nairobi. But what I know is that a big LNG powerplant will be built in Dongo Kundu, Mombasa for the purpose of powering the SEZ that will be built there. A substation that will step up power from the LNG plant is already being built as per KetracoI have been thinking about this pipeline deal and I keep asking myself why the pipeline is going to Mombasa instead of Nairobi where 90% of Kenyan factories are located. I'm sure the pipeline will go directly to the Port of Mombasa and where the gas will go after reaching the port I think your guess should be as good as mine.
so what's wrong with that? To us that is commercialization of our gas as every cent a Kenyan is to pay a percent of it will go to us as our gas will be used to generate power through ur LNG powerplant( gas power generation plant) at Dongo Kundu! Mind u the cubic meter price for gas at Dondo Kundu will not be the same with the price in Dar! Afterall power from gas is cheaper than geothermal in Kenya! These are good questions and I don't have the answers to most of them. Cc Geza Ulole looks like Kenya will build an LNG powerplant in Dongo Kundu Mombasa. And the gas will come from TZ
I support the project. I didn't say there is anything wrong with it. My only concern is that getting financing may be a problem. However I want the project to be built. It is good for Kenya too.so what's wrong with that? get to know the a broad usage of gas first, it is even more then heating! there is a reason why goods manufactured in Tanzania are cheaper than in Kenya! Financing can even be raised from local banks! Learn one or two things about JNHPP financing! Don't always rush to abroad though even there financing will come easiliy as gas falls under energy sector!I support the project. I didn't say there is anything wrong with it.
