Cuba doctors are here for knowledge transfer. We only wanted Tanzanian doctors when our doctors were on strike. Mind you, the lowest paid Kenyan doctor earns 3 times what a Tanzanian doctor makes. So the Tanzanians were ready to drop everything and come to Kenya for greener pastures.
Kenya has 50 million people. When you see pictures of 5 starving Turkanas, that's not representative. Go consult Google. Kenya consumes more beef, more milk, more maize, more rice than Tanzania. Despite having a smaller population.
But it's expected. The richer a country is, the more food it consumes.
You may be 60 million, but the average Tanzanian only eats half a plate of what the average Kenyan eats. That's why 90% of Tanzanians are said to be malnourished or underfed.
