Duh, Mag3 umenifurahisha na hako kasungura.
Ok, everybody wants a revolution of somekind, that we all agree on. The question is, who will start it? It seems everybody who starts to even wiggle a finger is quickly shut up or booed down ili mradi full vurugu.
I will injinia, I will...but...., are you ready to support me? how many are you? we may be only two, three, four...Failure is not an option, but sometime is inevitable. How society will perceive this? it is not the very same society that will mock us? na kusema wamefulia? wakati ulikuwa unapigania for their benefits? Or am I coward by foreseeing this?
Kind of like passive resistance? How can a resistance be passive and not active? This is one of the tactics that Dr. King used during the civil rights era....
Aisee nitumie zile nondo ulizopata kwenye Dk. King Center, hivi nikitaja kuinteni humo kama wewe natakiwa kufanya nini?
Poa. Ila mshikaji ali-slow down 'intifada' ya kina Malcolm X. Unakumbuka Malcolm alisema yeye haoni Dream kama King. Anachoona ni Nightmare! Akagoma ku-turn the other cheek!
Malcolm baada kutembelea Afrika alibadili mbinu.
Dk King alipunguza makali hayo yote.
I hope its not intifada that we witnessed few years ago in Palestine. But.. if its an awakening of sort where citizens will demand their rights and political opportunities until they get them then it is something to cause to happen. However, this needs leadership and a clear idea what is the goal.
We CAN not have an intifada like the one in Palestine, we will ALL lose. In Palestine, no one has won yet and the two communities live in a continued state of distrust, fear and anxiety.
I'll call for "mwamko wa kifikra".. kama ule wa Iran, Thailand, Ukraine, Georgia n.k let me call it "The Golden Revolution"... ikimaanisha utetezi wa raslimali zetu.
I hear a lot about revolutions.
Political revolutions are invariably illusions which end up replacing the old order of oppression with a new order of oppression, this has been the case the world over, from Vico, Michelet, The French Revolution, Marx, Engels, Lenin, Castro, Karume, Mengistu all the way to Putin-Medveyev.
What we need is a gradual grassroot movement for change.
IT seems,in this thread we got one too many PAPER TIGERS and DAYDREAMERS
revolutions are sometimes necessary; the American revolution for one gave to the world the most inspiring and enduring political experiment by a free people. The contribution of the ideas inspired by American revolution and before that the French revolution have been the basis of many other revolutions the world over.
Mapinduzi yasiyofikia lengo hilo basi yameshindwa. Na hii inajumlisha mapinduzi ya aina zote.
Kiranga it seems you believe in evolution rather than revolution, even Mwalimu once believed in that!
