Referring our advertisement for internship and field practice opportunities, I would like to congratulate you for your courage to apply for internship/field practice in our company. I am hereby officially informing you that despite the competition, you have been successfully selected for 2-3 months internship/field practice in our company starting from early July 2014 at Buzwagi Gold Mining Site-Kahama.
Instead of 30 interns, our company has decided to enroll a total of 50 interns and field practice scholars and graduates for the year 2014 due to high number of applicants who applied.
You are hereby required to report at the named mining site from 8[SUP]th[/SUP] July to 14[SUP]th [/SUP]July 2014, those who will not be able to report in the stipulated time range are required to notify us in advance by writing an email.
As per our safety motto, stating that everyone going home safe and healthy everyday. Our company requires medical and health examination of all new staffs, volunteers and interns before being allowed to work in our mining sites. This includes normal medical checkup as well as x-ray. This routine also involves all interns and field practice scholars who are willing to work in our mining sites. Always the medical examination cost is not the responsibility of the company. New employees, volunteers and interns perform this at their own costs from a hospital which is recommended by the company.
You being part of our responsibility you will be required to undergo such procedures at your own costs. The recommended hospitals which have x-ray machine and other requirements which you shall be required to go is Kahama Government Hospital
The x-ray service is always a sensitive and highly demanded service, which means the population of patient in the queue is always higher in the named hospital. That is why we recommend pre-arrangement for medical examination for all interns before arriving, the total costs for medical examination is Tsh 50,000/= (covering for x-ray and other medical and health examination costs
As a selected candidate you are required to do the following;
After confirming the date you will report and after sending the medical costs to the named medical officers in charge we shall send to you the internship medical form on the 4[SUP]th[/SUP] July. Also when sending you the medical form we shall inform you which date you should go to the hospital for medical checkup as explained above before the date you will choose to report. You shall be required to print the medical form which we shall send to you, and go with it to the named officer in charge of medical and health examination from the hospital mentioned above.
It is my hope that, as a scholar you will understand this procedure of preparing in advance, gate pass shall only be issued to those who will undergo medical checkup. If you will report without medical clearance report from the named hospitals signed by the respective medical officer in charge, you shall not be considered as a legit intern. The gate pass shall be issued by the respective officer after medical certification process.

- Also in order to ensure that officer in charge from the recommended hospital can make pre-arrangements for you to get medical x-ray checkup and other examination by booking for medical examination appointment. You are required to send your medical costs of Tsh 50,000/= to the medical officers in charge of our activities in the respective hospital via his M-Pesa Account: 0756 605 677 immediately from now before 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] July, 2014. For Kahama Hospital the officer inacharge is called Mr Kisinza Mabula, and he has the list of names of all selected interns for Buzwagi and Bulyanhulu Mining site
