Hellow JF members,

its my hope that you all doing fine.

Today i've decided to share with you my toughts about international jobs, Most of job seekers relay on local jobs only and this is becouse most of us we are not confident of whether we can be able to compete internationally, another issue is that, most job seekers from developing countries are not aware of how to start finding thses international job and others who knows how to do so most of them are not confident either and this is becouse of how they were prepared since on their primary school.

Am saying this just to provide an overview on how this problem is big. But i want to inform all job seekers who find difficult of whether to apply or else. Am telling you guys it is possible to find job internationally. What you have to do is:

1. Make sure your qualifications meets international standards, or they matche with the requirements of an international employer.

2. Give yourself time to find appropriate company to work with and then email them about your intentions.

3. Make sure you are exploring new international job so as to find what match with ur qualification.

4. Do as quickly as possible to network with people from different country, they will help you to know new opportunity, help u to improve ur self etc.

5. Allocate enough time to understand internationa language.

6. Try to ur level best find interns, they matter becouse they will give u credit when applying for international organization.

And lastly, if you real want to work abroad or internationally, try to be unique, be confident, be smart and remember passpprt is very important becouse each international job require passport for each candidate.

For those who know more on this, help us more🙏

I used to think international jobs were just for people with crazy high qualifications, but there are some jobs that don’t need tons of schooling. For example, being a sterile processing tech is something I came across—it’s about making sure medical tools and spaces are super clean so people don’t get infections.
What’s interesting is it’s a job that’s needed pretty much everywhere, so once you get the training, you could find opportunities abroad. I remember stumbling on this site, How to Become a Sterile Processing Tech: The Ultimate Guide, where you can check out training programs near you if you’re thinking about it.

Number 5 is a stumbling block..
Whenever someone tries to apply abroad, he encounters a Language proficiency thing..be it English, French..
I went through some online get ready exams from British council only ended up scoring less that 50%..
For one to be more competitive in a job market ,should hold either IELTS,TOEFL certificate.

A few years ago, I was hesitant about stepping into international opportunities too. I was working as a plumber, and while I was confident in my skills locally, I didn’t know if they would translate internationally. But I took your advice to heart—made sure my qualifications met the international standards and started researching companies that were hiring abroad. Slowly, I started networking with people from different countries, which opened up new doors. The internship experience also really helped build my resume and boosted my confidence.

I also remember reading about how you can find more specific advice for certain careers like plumbing. I came across this site How to Become a Plumber , which gave me a better understanding of what employers abroad expect, and it really helped me tailor my applications. Having a strong, international-focused profile was key. It made a world of difference!
