The King Is Born
Behold the news, a joy profound,
From angel voices, the world resounds.
"Good tidings of joy for every heart,
Christ is born, let gladness start."
Prophecies fulfilled in radiant light,
Isaiah's words now take their flight.
Promises of God, steadfast and true,
Why not rejoice for what He will do?
The Word made flesh, in love He came,
Amongst us dwells His holy name.
Creator of all, in human frame,
Rejoice, for His glory forever will reign.
Salvation’s gift, through grace bestowed,
To save the lost, the path He showed.
Eternal life, for all who believe,
Celebrate the hope we now receive.
Declare the King to a world astray,
Proclaim the truth this Christmas Day.
Invite all hearts to embrace His call,
For Christ was born to save us all.
The King of Kings, the Lord of Lords,
Deserves our praise, in hymns and chords.
With shouts of joy, let us adore,
The Sovereign One, forevermore.
In love and unity, believers meet,
Sharing the joy, the bond so sweet.
"How good it is," the psalmist sings,
When brethren dwell as one in Him.
The Light has come, dispelling night,
No darkness now, for we have sight.
Rejoice in triumph, for sin’s defeat,
In Christ alone, our joy complete.
Let laughter rise, let hearts be glad,
In celebration, leave no soul sad.
For joy restores, it heals, it mends,
A gift from God that never ends.
So dance and sing, with hearts of cheer,
For health and strength, His love is near.
The body thrives where gladness stays,
Rejoice this Christmas, give Him praise!
Celebrate the birth of Christ the King,
Let joy and hope in your heart take wing.
