Yes, it is called subterfuge.

A clever way of achieving something.

That is what Tundu Lissu is employing to circumvent the ludicrous NEC ban, suspension, or whatever you wanna call it.

Close to two months ago, I warned of the possibility of Mr. Lissu not making it on the ballot paper.

Per usual, I was ridiculed, brushed off, etc.

You can check out what I said right here.

I still have a sneaky feeling that CCM and its NEC aren’t done with him, yet.

I think they still have a couple more shenanigans to pull out of in their wheelhouse, before Election Day.

But since being suspended, Lissu has employed a brilliant strategy or ‘strategery’, as GWB would have it 😄.

Each day during the suspension period just come up with something that will create headlines, keep you in the news cycle, and allow you to campaign without actually campaigning.

Show up to some local CHADEMA branch in your vice-chair capacity and talk to your party members about party issues. Have a standoff with the police for the whole entire day.

Next day hop in the bus and go to Kariakoo to buy some groceries with journalists and their cameras in tow.

Hop out of the bus and walk around the market surrounded by a throng of supporters chanting ‘raisi, raisi, raisi’.

Chess moves.

Who remembers this song ‘We miss you Manelo’? It came out during Apartheid South Africa.

If you listen to it carefully, are they saying ‘we miss you Manelo’ or ‘we miss you Mandela’?

Mind you, at that time anything having to do with Nelson Mandela was forbidden....but somehow folks found a way around it.

Bravo bravissimo, Tundu Lissu and Co. for your brilliant ‘campaign’ strategies.

Can’t wait to see what’s next....a trip to Mlimani city mall, maybe? Or Coco beach on Sunday to decompress? Shoot, a trip to Ubungo bus terminal to go buy a ticket wouldn’t hurt either 😉. Just sayin’.

What is Tundu Lissu up to today? Anybody know?

Kama bwana Lissu atapita hapa basi namshauri kesho au keshokutwa aende kwenye baa mbili au tatu zinazobamba kwa sasa akanywe bia mbili tatu.

Anywe tu bia. Lakini asile chochote....

Yesterday u sounded like a prophet or something. Kaenda Mlimani City kweli bwana[emoji23]

We suppose to focus according our direction according our environment that's only way we can help our people no body should come and say that he is there to save the problems of our people we are the one we are leaders we suppose to change the direction ...
