I know that ship sailed a minute and few hours ago, but a few sore souls keep fronting and melting. Jay-Z just dropped his 13th studio record...4.44 and the reception is ridiculous for a man his critics claim he's told his all money, cash, hoes cliches already.

Haven't had the luxury to listen to the whole record myself, and it's probably gonna take me forever or never given I don't possess an album head, but I caught a few glimpses of what's in it and I'm diggin' it. Jay is giving game after game after game, from financial smartness to fatherhood & relationships 101. Also didn't spare time to kill Kanye and his hoe-fe.

Personally, content-wise this is the best record from Jay. No street crap, just straight grown folk revolutionary game. And like I said it once, I'll say it again, Jay-Z is the most valuable man in, and for the culture.

Hov 13th Album claimed that is an apology to lemonade.

Cooper you're Hov's big fan would you take that claim or...?

Apology nah. The whole record is about a lotta stuff that surrounds him. He did address the cheating rumors tho, and admit it was so Eric Benet of him and it's cool to be a EB.
It's ovious audience take what are in their minds.
Fans waited either he'll agree or disagree with rumours.

Kaongelea vingi ila kama kawaida kuna Habari na Habari za kusisimua. Za kusisimua zimetake over. [emoji106][emoji106]

Fact

Hov is very cerebral.

On that aspect the only other MC I can think of that's on par with him [or even a notch above] is Nas.

I've listened to the whole album. It's a good one.

Content is highbrow, as it is the case with most of his other works.

His metaphors and subliminal bars are something else.

With Hov, sometimes you have to listen more than once to decipher his bars.

This time around he also gets very personal and political.

He also threw shade at a lot people.

From Rev. Al [Sharpton, that is], Bill [or as he put it Pill] Cosby, Eric Benet to Future.

Not sure why Future, though.

"In the Future, others niggas playin' football with your son".

That's a direct shot at Future regarding his situation with Ciara and Russell Wilson.

Not ready to declare the album his best, yet.

I know some people are already declaring it as such but I think they are just being prisoners of the moment.

He nailet it

Haha

Tbf, the way you brought up that 'Future' flip of line alone, shows that you haven't listened to the song that carries it, let alone the album bro, and you ain't even that much a fan of rap. I'm just saying.

But anyway, for the sake of argument, I wouldn't mind if you showed me how Nas is on the same pedestal as Hov. Also, kindly share your game on how you rate your albums.
