13.23. The volume of passenger traffic handled at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport ( JKIA) increased by 3.7 per cent from 8.0 million in 2018 to 8.3 million in 2019. The increase in the number of passengers handled at JKIA is partly explained by introduction of new routes and business related travel mostly to the Far East countries such as JKIA-Geneva and JKIA-New York.

The number of passengers handled at Moi International Airport (MIA) increased by 7.1 per cent from 1.4 million in 2018 to 1.5 million in 2019. This was occasioned by the rise in the number of chartered flights from Europe to the Kenyan Coast and an increase in tourism related activities during the review period.

What JKIA handled in 2019 is more than all the passengers handled in other East African countries outside Ethiopia. JNIA and Mombasa are on the same boat, both handled 1.5m passengers.

JNIA iwe makini itapitwa na Mombasa, haswa sasa wameikimbia Dar na kwenda Dodoma....

Tupe source yenye data! Ukute Mombasa ilizidiwa na KIA,Zanzibar na Mwanza!
Macho ndio huna ama? Look at the table you will see Mombasa International airport( MIA) with 1.5m passengers.

Mnabrag vitu ambavyo sisi tumeshaachana navyo
These are things you are dreaming of. No Tanzanian airport has ever recorded half of what JKIA did in 2019. Your biggest airport handled 1.5m passengers last year.
