Mobile Network Operator Tigo has entered into another partnership with online retail store, Jumia, to enable customers purchase Tigo mobile devices, online on Jumia?s Mobile platform every Wednesday with discounts of up to 50% OFF.
The partnership, described as a first of many to come, will make Tigo even more accessible to customers all over Tanzania. Announcing the collaboration, Vendor manager Raza Bharwani , said: ?This agreement would assist both Jumia and Tigo to help Tanzanians harness the endless opportunities technology has to offer , We are excited that with a click on a button, both customers of Jumia and Tigo will have their purchased delivered to their doorstep nationwide.?
The Country Manager for Jumia Tanzania, Jean Philippe, emphasized that Jumia?s partnership with Tigo was in line with both parties? aspirations to build a long term relationship, which will provide increased value and convenience to customers in Tanzania.
Soon clients will not need to travel to Tigo shops to buy mobile devices, as they can now make their purchases in the comfort of their offices or homes from the Jumia website or mobile application.
