Kahama VS Njombe/Mafinga

Halmashauri ya Mji Mafinga ni moja kati ya Halmashauri 18 nchini zitakazonufaika na Mradi wa TACTIC kwa Awamu ya Tatu.

Timu ya Wataalamu kutoka OR- TAMISEMI kwenye Mradi wa TACTIC akiwemo Mtaalamu wa GIS Bi, Vainess Tarimo na Mchumi Ndugu Adam wametembelea Halmashauri ya Mji Mafinga lengo likiwa ni kutoa kushauri kuhusu Miradi iliyopendekezwa na Halmashauri na kuona changamoto na utatuzi wa changamoto hizo kabla ya kuanza utekelezaji wa Miradi hiyo kwa Timu ya Menejimenti.

TACTIC ni Mradi wa Uboreshaji wa Miundombinu ya Miji ya Tanzania na Moja ya Malengo ya Miradi ya TACTIC ni kugusa wananchi wengi na Wananchi wa hali za kawaida, kuinua uchumi na kuboresha uwezo wa Taasisi katika Kutoa huduma bora kwa wananchi.

Wataalamu kutoka OR-TAMISEMI kwenye Mradi wa TACTIC wamefanya mazungumzo na kukagua baadhi ya barabara wakiwa na Timu ya Menejimenti ya Halmashauri ya Mji Mafinga ikiongozwa na Kaimu Mkurugenzi Ndugu Francis Magembe.


Halmashauri ya Mji Mafinga ilipendekeza Miradi ya ujenzi wa barabara kwa kiwango cha lami, Ujenzi wa Stendi ya kisasa ya Mabasi na Soko la Mbao( Timber Market )

TAZARA has modern cargo terminus, complete with gantry cranes and other handling facilities at New Kapiri Mposhi, Kasama, Makambako and Dar es Salaam stations.
These facilities provide a quick and efficient means for exporters and importers from different regions of Africa to load and offload cargo onto and from TAZARA wagons. New Kapiri Mposhi handles cargo to and from the Southern and Central African regions, whilst Kasama covers the Great Lakes region. Similarly, Mbeya and Makambako cater for cargo from Malawi and some parts of the Great Lakes.
With such spread of the TAZARA terminus, cargo is easily relayed from region to region. In addition, there is a privately owned trans-shipment facility at Kidatu that handles the transfer of cargo from the wider gauge (1,067mm) wagons of TAZARA onto the narrower gauge (1,000mm) wagons of the Tanzania Railways Limited (TRL) facilitating inter-connectivity amongst the regions of Southern, Central and East Africa
