Wikipedia is a great source of information, most scholars are not encouraged to quote Wikipedia because if they did everyone will quote the same thing, as long as Wikipedia references where that info was obtained from then I can rightly use it. If you don't trust the source just click the number that takes you to the reference link, if the link is dead or not UN then you can tell me not to use Wikipedia but don't try to dismiss the info just because it's WikipediaBro usitumie Wikipedia as a reference. I even tell my students not to use it as the supplementary source of materials

Kenya iko ahead kwa lipi sasaEthiopia is trying to copy paste chinese model of economic growth, the chinese have also responded in kind and are the engine behind ethiopia growth, and this is the problem with africa,we can't think outside the box, just lazy and absent minded,we think what has worked for others will work for us LOL,whatever worked for china during its take off is very different for todays dynamic, now that trump is keen on slowing china growth, what will happen to ethiopia, their economy will slow down to,democracy and free markets is the only way to go,it is the natural order of things, thats why kenya is always ahead,i know of companies that shifted to ethiopia from kenya but with no time they trooped back one by one.

Ethiopia is trying to copy paste chinese model of economic growth, the chinese have also responded in kind and are the engine behind ethiopia growth, and this is the problem with africa,we can't think outside the box, just lazy and absent minded,we think what has worked for others will work for us LOL,whatever worked for china during its take off is very different for todays dynamic, now that trump is keen on slowing china growth, what will happen to ethiopia, their economy will slow down to,democracy and free markets is the only way to go,it is the natural order of things, thats why kenya is always ahead,i know of companies that shifted to ethiopia from kenya but with no time they trooped back one by one.

For all of its potential, the apparel industry
in Ethiopia has already encountered
difficulties. The government’s eagerness
to attract foreign investment led it to
promote the lowest base wage in any
garment-producing country—now set
at the equivalent of $26 a month. On
that amount, workers, most of them
young women from poor farming families,
cannot afford decent housing, food, and
transportation. Even when factory owners
provide additional modest payments for
regular attendance and meals, workers
struggle to get by. It’s common for
young women to live four-to-a-room,
without indoor plumbing
Ethiopia's clothes factory workers, producing items for top fashion brands including Guess, H&M and Calvin Klein, are the worst paid in the world, earning only US$26 (23 euros) a month, a report said yesterday.Ethiopian clothes makers worst paid in the world: study

As Ethiopia seeks to become the continent's leading manufacturing hub, it has sold investors on workers' willingness to toil for less than half the salary of tailors in Bangladesh, said the report by New York University's Stern Center for Business and Human Rights.
The report, entitled “Made in Ethiopia: Challenges in the Garment Industry's New Frontier,” said that in comparison, notoriously poorly-paid workers in Bangladesh earned US$95.
Their Kenyan counterparts earn US$207 a month, and those in China US$326.
“Rather than the compliant, cheap workforce promoted in Ethiopia, the foreign-based suppliers have encountered employees who are unhappy with their compensation and living conditions and increasingly willing to protest by stopping work or even quitting,” said Paul Barrett, the centre's deputy director.
“In their eagerness to create a 'Made in Ethiopia' brand, the Government, global brands, and foreign manufacturers failed to anticipate that the base wage was simply too little for workers to live on.”
Ethiopia has no official minimum wage for the private sector.

Ethiopia's growth is only for the elite, infact just 1000 taxpayers produce 90% of all tax revenues..Hii ndio model ambayo Jubilee inafuata, ikijifanya kubishana na ethiopia kwa Misifa ya GDP Figures..
Tanzania on the other hand is an inclusive economy, rais wao analipwa pesa ndogo kuliko deputy gavana wa county..
Everyone gets a share of the wealth however small that may be..
