Former US presidential aspirant and ex-first lady, Hillary Clinton, has showered praise on rapper Jay Z while wishing him a happy birthday.
The legendary rapper celebrated turning half a century on Wednesday, December 4, having made a name for himself as one of the greatest rappers of all time.
Hillary took to her social media and declared the rapper an icon, describing him as someone who has worked hard for his achievements.
“An icon turns 50. Jay Z's story is as American a tale as they come. Full of poetry, hard work, and pushing for progress on issues he cares about,” Hillary wrote on her Instagram.
The Grammy award-winning artist also gave his fans a birthday gift by adding all his tracks on streaming site Spotify after missing out for two years.
Jay Z also received praise and admiration from fellow rapper Drake, who once called him an influential figure in his life.
He captured himself on video while listening to Jay’s music in his house as he sang along.
The husband to Beyonce is not only great at music but also business, as he is one of the few entertainers with the billionaire tag in the world, alongside producer Dr. Dre.
