All economic sectors Tanzania is ahead of Kenya, it is only GDP which you accumulated during time we were busy liberating the continent, though you spent nearly 25yrs to accumulate your GDP from blood of our brothers Africans who were killed by whites getting supports from Kenya, but the gap is closing very faster, mention any area which generates revenue to our countries and lets see which country is doing better.Not excuses, but explanation so that you don't end up hanging yourself 5 years later when you discover that you are even further from catching up with the Kenyan economy

I think on tourism we need not to waste our time, because Tanzania gets about 4 times revenue compared to Kenya. Manufacturing sector, especially of that of value addition which is the biggest and important sector for our economies, Tanzania is more than two times better
So a middle income country n does not have measures to avert drought? Name me one other true middle income that is a victim of hunger!Most of the things that caused a shortfall in Ta collection are temporary things that we can recover from ,we had prolonged drought season and election both of which caused businesses to slow down ,
When you see or hear that Kenya's inflation has risen to double digits, that's when you can start the doomsday clock

It says you have the highest Value addition growth rate, NOT highest worth of value addition. Its like me boasting of Kenya having highest FDI growth rate yet the actual FDI is lower than Uganda.

There is a reason why electricity tariffs to manufactures has been cut by 50% at night when everyone is asleep, a true 24hour economy is comming and its all centered on manufacturing

We still use rain dependent agriculture, by the time a majority get to use irrigation based method, we will have reached upper middle income
They always have reasons for their failures, that is typical signs of crumpling economy, KQ, manufacturing sector, KRA, Agriculture, Tourism, Hotel and entertainment sectors are all in ICUs, but they have reasons for failure of each sector..Last kicks of dying economy..So now u r lower middle income!
