Maafisa hao wamelazwa katika hospitali ya taifa ya Kenyatta, hospitali ya Sinai na katika hospitali ya wanawake ya Nairobi Women’s.
“Polisi hao inashukiwa waliambukizwa kipindupindu katika mgahawa wa polisi katika eneo la Nairobi Area,” taarifa ya wizara hiyo imesema.
Mgahawa huo umefungwa kwa muda usiojulikana huku uchunguzi ukiendelea.
Waziri Cleophas Mailu amesema maafisa hao wanaendelea kupata nafuu hospitalini.

Yesterday, 92 patients, among them 87 police officers and five security guards from Multimedia University, were still admitted at various hospitals in Nairobi and Rongai following the outbreak of the disease at the weekend.
The officers were in the city to maintain peace during the hearing of the presidential election petition verdict by the Supreme Court last week.
According to Health CS Cleopa Mailu, the officers were eating at the canteen in Nairobi town and sleeping at a hostel in Multimedia University.
“Investigations are ongoing and we want to establish if the food was prepared at the canteen or there was an element of outsourcing,” he said.
“Rapid tests on the patients have confirmed that we are actually dealing with a case of cholera and we want to say that the national laboratories will carry out further tests.”
No student infected, patients stable
Nairobi Health executive Bernard Muia said no student was infected, as the officers were sleeping in a separate hostel.
"We have temporarily closed the canteen until we conclude the investigations because we don't want the disease to spread," Muia said.
Muia, Mailu and director of Medical Services Jackson Kioko visited the patients at Nairobi Women's and Sinai hospitals in Rongai, Kajiado county, yesterday.
"Good news is that most of the patients are stable, because none of them is vomiting, which is a good sign. It shows improvement. We believe in the next one day or so, most of them will find go home,” Mailu told journalists at Sinai hospital.
In July, more than four people died and tens of others, including Treasury CS Henry Rotich and his Industrialisation counterpart Adan Mohammed, were treated at various hospitals after contracting the disease.
The CSs were said to have eaten contaminated food at a trade fair at the KICC. Jacaranda and San Valencia hotels, which were said to have to have offered catering services at the event, were closed by the government.
They were later re-opened after they complied with the health standards as set out by the county government.
Mailu has once again ordered all food handlers in the city to be tested afresh.
He also asked the county Health department to inspect all eateries in the capital. The CS also urged residents and suppliers of water to consume and supply clean and safe water.
“Outsourcing of food is causing us problems because the areas where these foods are prepared we cannot vouch for. Therefore we are deliberately exposing other people to risk,” Muia said.
