Most of those 'slums' are nothing but a few mabati houses on a 1/4 acre piece of land.
Even if you were to add up the land area occupied by all Nairobi 'slums', it would still cover less than 1% of the total land area in Nairobi.

But the whole of Dar is a huge slum.
