Watu 121 zaidi wamekutwa na #CoronaVirus nchini Kenya na kufanyakiwango cha maambukizi nchini humo kufikia 3,215. Kati ya 121 waliotangazwa 115 ni wakenya na 6 ni wageni.
Watu 44 zaidi wameripotiwa kupona na kufanya idadi ya waliopona kufikia 1,092. Pia idadi ya vifo imefikia 92.
Kenya imeshapima jumla ya sampuli 106,2047. Wizara ya Afya nchini humo inategemea kuongezewa fedha katika mwaka wa fedha 2020/2021 ili kuweza kupambana kikamilifu na ugonjwa huo.

Another 121 people have tested positive for the coronavirus today, bringing the total of confirmed cases in Kenya to 3,215.
In a statement to newsrooms, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe (pictured) said the ministry had tested 3,291 samples.
So far, the number of tested samples since the first case was confirmed is 106, 247.
Out of the confirmed cases on Thursday, 115 are Kenyans and six are foreigners.
Ninety-two of those are male and 29 females, adding to the growing trend of more males contracting the disease compared to females.
The Ministry says it has also discharged an additional 44 patients, raising the recoveries to 1,092.
Three more people have however succumbed, which now brings the death toll in the country to 92.
County distribution of today’s cases is as follows:
Nairobi- 49
Busia-37
Mombasa- 20
Kajiado- 5
Migori-4
Kiambu and Kilifi- two each
Murang’a and Nyeri- one each
The CS hoped that the Ministry would be allocated funds that will enable it to sufficiently manage the coronavirus pandemic and other life-threatening diseases, in today’s budget reading of the Financial Year 2020/21.
In his speech on Thursday afternoon, National Treasury CS Ukur Yattani said that the coronavirus pandemic has overstretched Kenya’s health system. As such, Sh1.2 billion has been proposed for the recruitment of 5,000 healthcare workers for one year.
An additional Sh500 million will go to the supply of beds and beddings to hospitals.
The Health Ministry now faces an uphill task of distributing the funds to cater for all affected sectors amid a pandemic, floods and other overwhelming diseases.
