Watu wawili wameripotiwa kupoteza maisha leo asubuhi katika ajali iliyohusisha magari kadhaa kando ya Southern Bypass, jijini Nairobi. Polisi pia wamesema watu wengine watatu wamejeruhiwa vibaya katika ajali hiyo.
Msemaji wa Jeshi la Polisi, Dkt. Resla Onyango Madereva wote wawili walipoteza maisha papo hapo. Mmoja wa madereva amedhurika vibaya kiasi cha kutotambulika.
Inaelezwa kuwa ajali hiyo ilitokea baada ya dereva wa lori lililokuwa likitoka uelekeo wa Kikuyu kupotea njia na kuingia upande wa pili na kugongana na trela.
Mashuhuda wamesema ajali hiyo pia iliathiri magari mengine matatu ambayo yalikuwa nyuma ya trela lililokuwa likielekea Kikuyu.

A terrible accident has occurred on the Southern Bypass with potential fatalities.
In the 6:30am incident, police say the driver of an Isuzu FRR driving from Kikuyu lost control of the truck and collided head-on with an oncoming trailer.
National Police Service spokesperson Resila Onyanyo said two drivers died on the spot while three passengers were seriously injured.
Video from the scene seen by TUKO.co.ke showed a fierce fire engulfing three trucks involved in the accident.
Images of the accident shared online showed how serious the accident was as the trucks were in flames.
Traffic police officers have advised motorists to anticipate traffic delays due to the accident.
Police diverted traffic flow from the Mombasa Road direction as the rescue mission went on, causing a traffic jam.
