It's more to do with selfish mentality that other East Africans will get richer at Kenyan expense.

Its the same mentality that you tanzanians use to lock out and harass Kenyan commercial ventures in Tanzania. Case in point, Brookside. I thought you never wanted any union with Kenya in the first place? What changed?

Haha Brookside, what about Kenya blocking Tanzanian and Ugandan goods even though it was agreed on
EAC customs union. We're seeking the union which gives everyone fare share.

My point exactly, everybody looks after his/her own self. As long as there are no hostilities there can always be more dialogue on such matters. Clearly not by setting chicks on fire and selling off livestock that don't belong to you. Kenya has never been the stumbling block in EAC, case in point Migingo Islands.

Even escorting the citizen of other country by foot at gun point to the border so that they can deported isn't helpful either.

Yes it happen soon after the collapse of EAC and EA Airways. You won't find that in google, but our pilots whom where attached to EAA where made to march at gun point and cross the Namanga border.

That was then, and this is the 21st century. Plus that is the greatest way to get deported. You get to enjoy the great scenery of Kaputei Plains in the great County of Kajiado. 😀

There is no need to hide the truth Mzee was just that, Mzee. He soiled the greatest co-operation of African states that ever was. With our pooled effort, East Africa right now would have been an unstoppable force in the world.

Even though he can't escape the blame but the people he left behind where in any harry to reform any Kenyatta Sr. policies. The likes of Moi, Njonjo, Kibaki Karume, Matiba etc. Kenya policy shift toward its neighbor's and Africa in general came later in 1990s.
