Kenyan stance provokes MPs

I totally agree with you that Tanzania will be better-off joining SADC rather than EAC; in fact, Tanzania is a member already. The bond between Tanzania and our brothers in the south is so strong as a result of what we share in common. Many Tanzanians have paid the ultimate price in liberating these countries. When Tanzania was extending its helping hand to our brothers, Kenya was doing the opposite by trading with our bothers' colonial masters. It this kind of hypocrisy and self centered mentality that has always been shown by our neighbors in the North.


On the other hand, Kenya should concentrate in dissolving tribal tensions before embarking on intergration. They must unite Luo and Kikuyu first.
 

Smatta, Tanzania had been begging for the federation long ago before independence while Kenya was holding back....And by that time Tanzania was an animal to be dealt with cautiously, while this time it is the other way round, why?? It would be better if Kenya federate with Sudan, Somalia, DRC and the other neighbours while Tanzania cooperate with its historical partners Mozambique and others in the south....
 

For the first time i have felt that Kenya has the most intelligent Mps after reading this article,i thought we are worse off.If an Mp who is supposed to be the concience of the people can reason like this then even if they are to stay EAC they will be rotten eggs in the federation.
For how long will Tz blame Kenya for its failures!!I support your thought, they should have joined SADC yesterday,a failure will never lack excuses and will always fail.Even in SADC, they will behave the way they are behaving.By the way ,do we really need Tanzania in EAC!!? i agree with what Museveni said sometime in 2006 that Tanzania should leave EAC instead of dragging its feet.We have a future to build through this federation and we cannot do it with cowards of people or a nation doomed to fail.

These guys will screw us if we do not take care. They are targeting some issues very beneficial to them in these community. Nionavyo mimi sisi tunachukulia mambo kama ni mchezo mchezo wakati wenzetu wako very serious nayo. One of the issues zinakazokuwa hot sana mbele ya safari ni ardhi.
 

So what is your point Abdul, you want Tanzania to isolate itself from the so called 'ineffective organisations', including SADC for what benefits? One thing that really amazes me about you fruits is your obsession with South African countries, you keep saying that you helped them gain their freedom, which to me is laughable gauging by how your country is being raped off its minerals by the same people you helped remove from the South. Its a sad fact that you will be taken advantage of in both organisations, you are bound to lose because it seems like loosing is hardwired in your system. Out of curiosity please tell me the benefits you would get from SADC that you wount get from EAC? What will you export to SADC, Ngetwa?

I aint the PR for the Govt so stop nonsensical questions about these useless ineffective organisations..My point to that useless fellow of yours was to correct HER gullibility. Tz is already a member of SADC for a long time ago and many other orgs of the same caliber. It is not a new thing that Tz is a member of such organisations except the terms of the treaty were not the same with the EAC. Yes I admit we have a problem of leadership with no vision, who think the shortcut to prosperity in development is by submission of our economy to foreign investments, like our dying neighboring nation of Kenya. I assure you with time, more Tz are aware of what is going-on and the break-point of this system will arrive sooner or later, and at that time dear nyang'au, all the kupe will pay DEARLY.
