Kenyan & Tanzanian Surburbs

Naona Dar Finnaly wamepata wapiga picha wenye viherehere vya kutosha sasa.Naona hizi apps za vijana za Instagram zinasaidia.

having lived in both cities, Dar is a much beautiful city, you can't beat a city with a sea line of 100+ kms. Nairobi always feels like an old city to me,borrowing heavily from its 1970s architectures and heavy borrowing of Old European anecdotes.

Dar on the other hand is a more balanced city, where cultures mix up really well, from Africans, Europeans, Asians and Middle eastern.

Cleanliness Nairobi is better, Dar is lagging behind especially in the city center. Rental housing Nairobi has more choices, due to a bigger population of settlers, while Dar is more of Villa type of city.

Size, the city core of Dar is much bigger than Nairobi, but adding up suburbs they both are about the same size.

Infrastructure wise, they are currently on par, but Dar will pull ahead come next January when BRT phase 1 and 2 becomes operational and phase 3-4-5 begins construction.

Weather, i love Nairobi mornings, adore Dar evenings( nothing beats that) and i absolutely hate both cities afternoons.

Street Level-Ring Roads Nairobi

These roads are not Rings. Ring roads can not be crossed, and in fact there is no such thing as street level Ring roads. It's contradictory. these are just normal roads, very good roads for African standards.

Second, it would have been helpful if these photos were not re-posted by you folks more than 30 times! If you love Nairobi, get out an take pictures, not recycling same pictures in the same thread since 2010.OK?
for some of us who want's to see how African Cities are progressing, something from 4 years ago is a bot deceiving.

A ring road (also known as beltline, beltway, circumferential, loop or orbital) is a road or a series of connected roads encircling a town or city.

Ring roads are, simply, roads that loop a city. Your attempt to redefine the term to suit your agenda is comical at best. Where you find the sense to bash roads simply because they are Kenyan is baffling.

You are here to bash Kenya, we are well aware of that, now do the bashing and find something productive to do with your time. We are here to share photos, not to engage in your pastime, and you are not forced to view them.

Ps: the roads were completed less than a year ago.
