Vichwa maji hapa ni nyinyi. We dont measure the hight of buildings in terms of the number of stories, but in terms of the height.
A building with 35flrs for example could be taller than a building with 45flrs.

The 50 floors Carlton Tower in Joburg for example is taller that the Ponte City which has 54 floors.

Lakini, why should we even be having this argument over whose city has the tallest building? Does it mater really? What should matter here is the quality of the cities; the size of the infrastructure and public works, the quality of life, the size of investments. Can Dar compare with Nairobi in terms of these aspects?
Oh yeah, Dubai may boast of having the tallest building in the world, but that doesnt in any way mean that it therefore surpasses New York or even London in terms of prosperity, cos we all know the latter two cities are waaay more advanced. New York and London have waay more skyscrapers than Dubai in fact.

Nairobi is way ahead than Dar, even if Dar was to have a 100floor skyscraper tody.
