This is Kibera slum. The worst slums in Kenya are actually in Nairobi, the city where most in Kenya prefer to go into in search of fortunes......which unfortunately are very limited.
Slums exist in Kisumu, just like any other big city in Africa, however, in all honesty, they are not as extreme as the ones in Nairobi.

You can even check the slums in the other cities like Mombasa, Nakuru Eldoret........I am not even sur if there's really a slum in the smaller towns such as thika, Kericho, Nyeri.

Mine is not just to show only the rosier side of kisumu though
