Man United striker Marcus Rashford reportedly could be dropped by Erik ten Hag for Saturday's clash with Brentford.
After a career-best 30-goals in 2022-23, Rashford has scored just once in nine games so far this season, in a United side that have failed to live up to expectations.
The Red Devils sit 10th in the league after losing four of their opening seven games, while their hopes of reaching the Champions League knockout rounds have taken a dent after losing their opening two group games.
Rashford could now make way as Ten Hag looks for a solution, with the Sun reporting that Alejandro Garnacho or Anthony Martial could replace him on the left wing.
Martial came off the bench for the English striker in United's last Premier League game, a 1-0 loss to Crystal Palace, while Garnacho replaced him in the midweek 3-2 loss to Galatasaray.
Speaking ahead of the Brentford game, Ten Hag accepted that Rashford was not at his best but insisted things will get better.
'It's normal that you are not always right in the same levels,' he said, 'Everyone knows his qualities. We've seen he is getting in good positions.
