KQ faces rougher skies as Uganda, Dar revive their national carriers

Collapsing according to whom?

- 4.9% is a very reasonable growth rate for any country, so Kenya's economy is very much on an upward trajectory. It may not be growing as fast as fast as Tanzania or Rwanda, but definately faster than Uganda and Burundi- and dozens other countries in Africa.

- Kenya's debts relative to the Gdp is not anywhere among the worst in Africa. Get your facts right, mister/ missus.

- 48% of Kenyans are not employed in the formal sector. But majority of Kenyans are into informal employment!

- It isnt true at all that all sectors are in "down turn" as put it. Most sectors of the economy are perfoming robustly....ie insurance, banking, ICT, real estate, foods and beverages, transport, fashion, media and entertainment, marketing, agriculture ( tea, coffee, horticulture, dairy and meat), education etc.

Tourism sector is also slowly recuperating from the setbacks of nearly 10yrs now.
