Mimi binafsi niliwahi kununua hisa za DSE mwaka jana wakati zikiwa kwenye stage ya IPO.By the time naziuza bei ilikuwa zaidi ya mara mbili(100% profit nilipata). Lakini hizi za Vodacom sijazinunua...bado natafakari na kufanya research kabla ya kuamua...bado nina muda mpaka tarehe 19.4.17!
Experience inaniambia kuwa majority ya wa-Tz wanaonunua huwa wanataka kuziuza mara moja hisa zikishawekwa kwenye secondary market.Sasa ikitokea majority wanataka kuuza na wanunuzi ni wachache, what will happen?Will the shares' value go down below the IPO's price?

Lakini kwa wale ambao wanataka ku-invest long term pengine watavumilia huku kushuka na kupanda kwa bei na hatimaye overall profit wataipata baada ya miaka kadhaa.
 
Kwann hukufikiria hivyo wakati unanunua hisa za DSE ufikirie hivyo sasa hiv?

Hapana! Ukumbuke pia kwa trend hii hata dividends haina hakikisho.

Mi binafsi japo hili la kupanda na kushuka huwezi jua bahati itakudondokea wapi cha msingi ni kuweka mitego sehemu nyingi zaidi lazima ufanikiwe huwezi kukoswa kote.
Hajawahi kusikia msemo wa kiswahili wa kukosa bara na pwani mkuu??? Kukosa kote ipo kama ulifanya maamuzi ya kukurupuka kwenye masuala ya pesa.
 

I completely agree with that, ulichosema ni sawa kabisa na kinatokea kila miaka 7 to 14 kwenye soko la mtaji kuna trends, mambo ya kujikumbusha ni haya:

1. kununua kiwanja ni uwekezaji vile vile kama kununua share tu; actually buying land is low risk comparing to buying shares which means, its very remote kwamba you will loose your capital kwenye land ownership kuliko kwenye stock market
2. low risk maana yake low returns, kwahiyo ukiangalia price fluctuations ukifuata ushauri mzuri unaweza kununua viwanja kumi nani ya miaka mitano, kulinganisha na mtu mwenye kiwanja kimoja kwa kipindi hiko hiko
3. kuna inflation, this is means kila mwaka any currency ina loose power, kwahiyo tsh mil 8 kwa acre 4 inaweza kuwa mil 10 kwa muda wa miaka 5 kwasababu currency inapoteza thamani;
4. cha muhimu ni risk exposure - kwenye kitu chochote kwenye maisha manage risk - angalia how much can you afford to lose;
5. stock market over time has proved to be the best place for returns kwasababu ya potential high risk exposure - hizi pesa zinazotumwa afrika kila siku kutoka nchi zinazoendelea, hazitoki kwenye mfuko wa mtu, zinatoka kwenye capital raising activities kwenye stock market
