Ubarikiwe lazydog.....How did you format it?
Which among these format did you pick:
- NTFS
- FAT32
- FAT16
Nadhani mwanzoni ulitumia FAT32 ndiyo maana HDD size ikawa 32GB
Limitation kwenye FAT16 ni 2GB or 4GB in some Operating Systems.
Jaribu kui-format tena, ila uchangue NTFS format (New Technology File System).

Ukweli,
Jaribu kutumia Disk Management program iliyoko kwenye computer. (Kama unatumia Windows)
Kwenye vista Nenda ->
Control Panel Select -- Administrative tools-- computer management
Chini ya 'Storage' -(iliyoko kushoto) Double click "Disk Management"
Ita kuletea overview ya hard disk zako. Both Primary na Secondary (slave)
Angalia kwenye summary Kama partition iko salama itakuwa Healthy.
(Nadhani) Hiyo (slave) yako itakuwa na ~70GB of Unhealthy au unallocated (one of the two) space.
Just right click (on the unhealthy au unallocated space) and format it to NTFS plus change drive letter/path

Hope it helps
- Method 1 - Start > Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > Administrative Tools. Double click Computer Management and then click Disk Management in the left hand column.
- Method 2 - By default, Administrative Tools is not shown on the Start Menu but if you have modified the Start Menu (by right clicking the Start button and selecting Properties > Customize) so it is shown then just select Start > Administrative Tools > Computer Management and then click Disk Management in the left hand column.
- Method 3 - Click Start > Run and type diskmgmt.msc in the Open: line and click OK. The Disk Management snap-in will open.
