In short users of financial info are shareholders, public in general, grant providers, suppliers, employees, Govt and agencies, potential investors, lenders and creditors. All these might not be accountants but their day to day activities involve accounting

In order to understand the information presented by accountants in the financial statements for them to use in decision making like investment, supplies etc. It is required that users of financial statements should strugle themselves to understand terms and concepts used in the preparation of FS because accountants CAN NOT exclude material information simply because users can not understand
