That's not the actual berth, the actual birth will be waay bigger... Its a mini-berth, they built a similar one near Kilifi bridge, they will use that berth to load up heavy bulk stuff like cement,concrete from bamburi and Portland cement companies in Mombasa and other parts of Kenya and transport them via sea up to lamu to build the actual berthBerths taking shape

This is quite lovely!! LAPSSET is the mother of all developments after the SGR
I saw some road projects linking the LAPSSET corridor with Nakuru-Sigor road project that aims to join the Turkana Road projects. NAkuru Sigor road goes up to west pokot and has a Junction that joins to the LAPSSET project. THe first picture below shows where the two projects meet.Is there a connection from Isiolo to Lodwar and onwards to South Sudan ???In the Lapsset project??Somebody Educate me

In fact coming to know, i realized that this project is going to change the whole country by its own. Remember Isiolo is the most center of Kenya, and it is going to be linked by roads going in all directions reaching, Turkana, Moyale, Mandera, Nairobi, Nakuru, lamu. It is Massive. And now that the Airport is complete and about to be commissioned and the Lamu port in top gear, some roads already done and others in progress, i can confidently say things are on a roll!!!!Wow!Just wow!'....Then this project is as good as coming to full cycle
