Maafisa hao walifika kwenye kituo cha mafuta kilichopo Kisumu muda wa saa 7 usiku wakiwa wanaendesha Pikipiki na kumkuta mwendesha magari ya mafuta akishusha mafuta kwenye kituo hicho na kutaka wafahamu ni kwa nini anafanya hivyo usiku ule.
Kwa mujibu wa maelezo yaliyopo Polisi, maafisa hao walianza kumpiga dereva huyu wa gari la mafuta pamoja na muhudumu wa kituo hicho huku wakimuamirisha dereva huyo awawekee mafuta kwenye pikipiki zao.
Madereva bodaboda wanaoegesha pikipiki zao karibu na kituo hicho cha mafuta waliposhuhudia hayo yakitokea walipiga simu polisi na kuomba msaada na ndipo polisi walipofika hapo na kukamata maafisa hao.
Maafisa hao waliokamatwa siku ya Alhamisi usiku ni Valentine Ochieng na Julius Oduor na walipelekwa kwenye kituo cha Polisi kilichopo Kisumu wakisubiri tarabibu zaidi.

Two police officers are presently being detained in Kisumu for allegedly assaulting a petrol station attendant and demanding for free fuel.
Police Constable Valentine Ochieng, based at Mogotio Police Station, and AP Constable Julius Oduor, based at Maramanthi AP post in Tharaka Nithi, were arrested Thursday night.
The officers reportedly stormed a petrol station at Kachok on Kisumu-Nairobi road on two motorcycles and accosted a tanker driver demanding to know why he was offloading fuel at the station at night.
The police officers, during the 1am incident, then reportedly ordered the attendant to fill the two motorcycles with fuel.
According to a police report seen by Citizen Digital, an argument ensued and the two officers started beating the tanker driver as well as the petrol station attendant.
Boda boda riders stationed near the petrol station intervened and alerted other police officers on patrol who then arrested and locked up the duo at Kisumu Central Police Station.
The two are expected to be arraigned in court to face charges of assault and causing disturbance.
