I agree, it is absurd for men to be allowed to marry multiple wives, but women not to be.

There law is, after all, fundamentally FOR equity and AGAINST iniquity.Ndiyo maana mizani inajulikana kama symbol ya sheria the world over.

If we are for polygamy, let it be a two way street.

I am not sure how different this particular aspect is from Kenya, if at all my inferrence of your intent by "legal pluralism" is on point.
