Epomis is a family of ground beetles(Carabidae). The hatchlings of this class are prominent for being committed predators. Epomis beetles as a whole are quite famous for their carnivore behavior and diet. Moreover, they are also quite ambitious predators when it comes to their prey as they are usually found hunting amphibians, frogs, e.t.c that are quite a few times bigger then their whole body.
Epomis ni familia ya mende wa ardhini (Carabidae). Watoto wa tabaka hili wanajulikana kwa kuwa wawindaji waliojitolea. Mende wa Epomis kwa ujumla ni maarufu kwa tabia na lishe yao ya wanyama wanaokula nyama. Zaidi ya hayo, wao pia ni wawindaji wenye tamaa kubwa linapokuja suala la mawindo yao kwani kwa kawaida hupatikana wakiwinda amfibia, vyura, n.k. ambao ni wakubwa mara chache zaidi ya mwili wao wote.
