Ni muhimu kuzingatia vipimo unaponunua tairi za gari yako for a safe and comfortable drive.

Tairi zikitofautiana even a single dimension ni tatizo.

Tairi mbili za mbele na tairi mbili za nyuma au tairi zote lazima zilingane vipimo.

Namna ya kuangalia vipimo vya tairi :

Mfano tairi imeandikwa 205/70R14 au P 205/70R14 maana yake;

P = Passenger ie gari binafsi au ya abiria
205 = Upana wa tairi ni 205mm
70 = Urefu wa tairi ( kutoka ardhini hadi inapoanza rim) ni 70% ya Upana.
R = Muundo wa tairi ni Radial
14 = Diameter ya rim ni 14 inch.

Vipimo vinakuwa kwa mfumo kama ilivyo katika mfano huo hapo juu na vinaandikwa pembeni kwenye tairi.

You can use the 2nd gear while going down a steep downgrade to save your brakes from overheating. I would not use 1st gear downhill unless you must drive very slowly (< 25 mph.)

Going downhill in a low gear lets you use the engine as a brake itself. The engine is throttled back to idle, fuel flow to the engine is cut back, and the car's momentum applies power to the wheels, transmission and crankshaft, letting the pistons work like air pumps to compress air and slow the entire car with occasional use of wheel brakes. It's a good technique to learn how to use.

I think this applies mostly in manual transmission, Kwa Maana gari nyingi auto hazina 1st gear km ulivyosema,
