Man humiliated for sleeping with a married woman

The year began on a sour note for a promiscuous man from Brooke Trading Centre in Kericho County after he was beaten and paraded in the nude for sleeping with another man's wife.
The man, a local primary school teacher, had taken the woman to a friend's house along Kericho-Nakuru Highway for a New Year's Day romp, when her husband busted the pair screaming blue murder.
Standstill
According to an eyewitness to the Tuesday evening incident that brought business to a standstill at the sleepy trading centre, unbeknown to the man, a next-door neighbour happened to be related to the promiscuous woman's husband.
When she spotted them entering the house, she did not waste time alerting him.
"Uko wapi? Nimeona bibi yako na mwanaume mwingine wakiingia kwa nyumba hapa, (where are you? I have just seen your wife entering a house here accompanied by a man)," the neighbour allegedly told the man over the phone.
So barely minutes into their illicit love making session, the woman's husband led a gang of bitter friends and neighbours in a raid to flush the couple out of their love nest.
But as the frenzied gang baying for their blood was breaking the door, the slippery woman, who works with a local tea company, slithered out. It is said she slipped out of the house through a window and ran for dear life, leaving her stunned lover behind in the hands of her angry husband and his entourage.
Merciless
The man's pleas for mercy claiming that he did not know that the woman was married fell on deaf ears as he was dragged out of the house and given a merciless beating.
He was then forced to take a walk and of shame through Brooke trading centre before finally being led to the local police station.
The incident caused a lot of excitement at the trading centre with many residents saying they had no sympathy for the randy man.
"The man deserved the beating and humiliation as he had for a long time been a living nightmare for married men by snatching their wives," said a gleeful resident.
Hibernating
"Huyo mzee anatabia mbaya sana (that fellow is very ill mannered). He was not even ashamed to sleep with the woman yet he is way older than her," another one observed.
By the time of going to press, the cheating woman was said to be hibernating in a friend's house waiting for things to cool down before she can show her face in public.
It's unclear though whether her husband will forgive her. Neither is it known where he was on the day another man was canoodling with his wife since New Year's Day is traditionally spent with the family.
But it is a good guess that the man who was frog matched half-nude in public will keep it zipped up --- at least till his bruises heal!
