Wakuu Mzuvendi na VoiceOfReason: nimependa mtiririko wenu wa majadiliano. Nimejifunza kitu kwa kweli kwenye majadiliano hayo.
Thanks Guys.....
VoR,
Talents and skills are different but interwoven. So it's very difficult to separate one from the other. In addition, the realization of one's talent and the ability to acquire or refine his skills are tied to the environment he lives.
In America, if you live on minimum income, it will be very difficult for you to save money. This is because your income is intended to cover your basic needs. As such your formula, spending less than what you earn, doesn't work for low income individuals.
I believe humans are able to accomplish many things once they overcome their environments, and they don't really need a word from Mr. Koyasoki to do so. .
Walipomuuliza akajibu Is Harry Porter real?

TBIQ:
Kuna watu wamekwenda kutafuta records za hao dingi zake wawili. They don't exist.
Basically we are talking the same issue but we are looking it from different angles. First of all what I mean with Talent (Kipaji) An exceptional natural ability to do something. (e.g. we can all learn to play football, probably through hard work I can even become as good as Peter Crouch or Jermaine Defoe....., But am sure no matter how hard I try I can never be has good as Messi... Because the boy has got Talent).
Now in business there are people who have vision, they see problems they turn it into solutions, like they might see scarcity of water and they build a well and start selling water; or they might plant trees in order to sell it after few years to come. Now our main argument is you dont have to have natural ability or exceptional skills to become rich. Anyone and I mean anyone with the right attitude can change their living ways and boost up their income, ofcourse we dont have to listen to a word from Kiyosaki to become rich, but so long as what Kiyosaki is saying is true and he is not advocating getting rich quick schemes, making money from what he is saying does not make what he is saying to be false.
Now in America of course you can not become rich easily..... Its very hard bacause the country has matured as a Capitalist Country, Competition is Stiff, Most Business are saturated and there are big guns... Big supermarkets (walmart etc) so in this case people can use other means like buying shares and playing the stock market, or use their creativity to come with something new or find some niche market (in simple terms in America is like in every field there are Tigos, Vodacom, and Celtels).
Now in Tanzania there is no excuse because competition is not stiff yet; even if you can not get money there are means of raising funds like through your relatives, friends and saccos.
Also about your point Asians and Arabs were successfully because they new where to get products, there is some truth in that but even in those times all of us did not need to sell exotic things, we could even have sold natural things like crops e.t.c just buying from point A and sell to point B, Buying Wholesale and selling retail.
The bottom line getting and staying rich is a way of life.... Its how we treat and value money... and since most of us have got bad habits when it comes to money, and its very hard to change ones habits, thats why most of us can not make it.
Na hao watu walifanya hivyo tu, ili wawe critical na wenyewe wamake some quick bucks....... Dunia hii kila mtu is looking for Numero Uno

You know am not advocating to start a business in a sense of starting your own registered company, just for the sake of it. What we look for are advantages like if in America and your income is high then defenetly there is a need of starting a Corporation due to tax benefits.than a half of start-up businesses cease to exist within the first two years. ?
Now I suggest to everyone to read every book no matter who the author is must not be taken as be all end all, you just get some good points from every book,
Bootstrapping is a great idea of raising capital when you are starting a business, reducing cost of overheads is one prime example, also hiring/leasing tools of trade instead of owning can be advantage and save you a lot of money while you are trying to stand on your feet..........
Now am a great believer in Low Overheads, and to me if you dont have big tenders and all that, you dont even need a company just a license will do. Lets take a leaf from our neighbours from Uganda, even when it comes to renting an office they share office space about 5 to ten of them just to decrease overheads. Now there still this was my point earlier about spending more than you earn and not cutting costs (someone starts a business rents an expensive office, buys expensive cars machines etc) Just for the sake of people seeing him that he has a business, people forget that you need to walk before you can run (even Microsoft and Apple started from a Garage), I know a chap in Dar is doing very well in business (clearing and forwading) and all he has is his vehicle and his mobile phones for contact.
Also am still of the opinion anyone in the right frame of mind and good money habits can make it in the world of business, and being rich is not a destination its a journey and a long journey which need step by step to complete
