Chewing gums are coming.
Mars Wrigley is today launching their Ksh7 Billion factory in Machakos.
The factory will be producing 7.8 billion chewing gum pellets annually, among other products... to be sold in East and Central Africa.
It will also support 20,000 dairy farmers in Kenya.

Good news, people will get jobs....america loves kenya, they have always used kenya as launch pad to africa, just recently america aerospace and defence giant company(boeing) was weighing options whether to set up their headquaters in nairobi or addis, honestly i thought they would settle for addis since ethiopia airlines is their largest client in africa but alas they decided to settle in nairobi....almoast all their companies looking to venture in africa are based in nairobi....google,IBM,microsoft,general motors and many more...this is what drives up skyscrapers demand in nairobi.
