Wanaume wawili(Dereva na Utingo wa Daladala) wamehukumiwa kunyongwa hadi kufa baada ya kupatikana na hatia ya kumvua nguo na kumnyanyasa kimaumbile mwanamke mmoja ambaye alikuwa ni abiria wa basi hilo.

Muhanga wa tuko hilo alyetajwa kwa HEW(Jila lake limefichwa) aliiambia Mahakama kuwa ndani ya basi hilo kulikuwa na wanaume saba waliotaka kumbaka ambapo ilibidi awadanganye kuwa ameathirika na virusi vya UKIMWI.

Wanaume hao walirekodi video yenye urefu wa sekunde 58 na kuisambaza katika mitandao ya kijamii. Pia walipora mali kadhaa za Mwanamke huyo.

Two men accused of stripping and robbing a female passenger in a Githurai-bound bus about three years ago have been sentenced to death.

Bus driver Nicholas Mwangi, conductor Meshack Mwangi and Edward Ndung’u were found guilty of robbery with violence and assault by Nairobi Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi.

The magistrate handed them another sentence of 25 years in jail for stripping and sexually assaulting the woman. But the jail term was suspended as the trio had already been handed the death penalty.

SENSELESS
In the judgement, the magistrate ruled that the accused took part in a "senseless and uncouth act that they seemed to enjoy because they were cheering as they stripped the woman."

The victim had told the court that there were about seven men in the bus and they wanted to rape her but she lied that she is HIV-positive. She said the video recording was only 59 seconds long but the incident lasted longer.

The three had been charged with robbery with violence and assault.

The charges against them state that on the night of September 19 and 20 at Millenium petrol station in Githurai 44, jointly with others, they robbed a woman identified as H E W (to protect her identity) of Sh10,200, a Samsung Galaxy mobile phone worth Sh27,000, one bottle of perfume, a clutch bag and a make-up kit all amounting to Sh41,700.

They further faced a charge of sexually assaulting the victim in the incident that caused an uproar after a video clip of the act was circulated on social media.

A completely shameless and reckless act but any law that jails someone for such a crime is a joke

The boy child's rights should be reviewed, undressing a woman does not warrant such a harsh sentence though what they did was embarrassing and rather shameful. Makanga wana upuzi mwingi sana na hawa watakuwa funzo kwa wengine walio na tabia kama hizi.

But it wasn't just undressing, they also robbed her violently and you know the latter carries a much more harsh sentence. As much as I don't support hanging them, but should act as lesson to the rest. The news about this harsh sentence should spread far and wide even if though can appeal and get a much lenient judgement.

Bangi haiwezi kumwelekeza mtu kufanya kitendo kama hicho, filamu za ngono na utovu wa nidhamu ndio main suspect.

These are grown men acting like beasts, violently robbed the poor woman of items worth sh. 45k and sexually molested her.

Death sentence is too lenient. Waende wakachape sulubu jela for life!

Boys must start behaving themselves now.
